The curriculum focuses on communicating major concepts that provide the foundation for a lifetime of Jewish learning and living. The concepts are based on the three tenants of Judaism:
Torah (Study) – An ongoing dialogue between the text and our students, which helps them develop the skills to study Torah and integrate Jewish teachings into their everyday lives.
Avodah (Prayer) – Provides students with the understanding to find their own sacred connections to God, community, and self through prayer.
G’milut Chasadim (Acts of Loving Kindness) – Teaches students that we all have a responsibility make the world a better place through acts of Jewish charity, social justice, and kindness.
Our curriculum focuses on an introduction to Hebrew reading through letter and vowel recognition and sound combinations. We make Hebrew learning fun with the use of games, music, and computers. Our computers are equipped with special language-learning software to stimulate interest and keep children’s attention. Each grade has a specifically designed curriculum with a technology component.
