Hillel said, “Do not separate yourself from the community.”
(Pirkei Avot 2:4)
There is something for everyone at Temple Oheb Shalom. From the youngest toddlers enjoying Tot Shabbat and playdates to the eldest of our seniors, we welcome all who share a commitment to Reform Judaism. We are a vibrant and diverse community dedicated to meeting and supporting our members wherever they are in their Jewish journey. This is the place to create personal connections and make memories while deepening engagement with Judaism and Jewish life.
While this website can tell you a little about us, only by worshiping with us, learning with us, sharing Shabbat dinner with us, or meeting with our member of our professional team will you get to know the real Temple Oheb Shalom. We are known for the warmth of our members and our clergy; people feel a part of our family as soon as they meet us. We invite you to visit with us and become a member of Baltimore’s most welcoming Reform Jewish congregation.
We welcome you to attend any Friday evening or Saturday morning Shabbat service and experience our warm, welcoming community for yourself. If you have young children we encourage you to drop by one of our family-friendly Tot Shabbat Shabbat (children under 6) or Family Shabbat (school ages) services, offered monthly at 6:00 PM followed by a congregational dinner. To meet or to learn more about Temple Oheb Shalom, contact Ken Davidson at email@example.com or 443-278-9348. To learn more about our Religious School, contact Rabbi Sarah Marion at RabbiMarion@templeohebshalom.org or 443-278-9347.

What About Dues?
First year dues are discounted fifty percent to make membership accessible to all. However, the Jewish community can survive only if every member supports it. Our dues structure was designed to take into consideration the financial ability of our members as well as our obligation to continue to provide the services we offer. We welcome your honesty with regard to your own financial situation. At Temple Oheb Shalom, there is no such thing as “I can’t afford to be a member.” Come talk to us: we want to remove barriers to membership. Financial arrangements are handled confidentially by our Executive Director, Ken Davidson, who can be reached at 443-278-9348 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
